Looks aren’t the only thing the SRX has going for it—the feel is just as intoxicating. Under the hood you have a choice between a 3.6-liter, 255-horsepower 5-speed automatic V-6, or a 4.6-liter, 320-horsepower 6-speed automatic V-8 beast. Power and fuel economy are par for the course with 13-15 MPG city and 20-23 MPG highway. Speaking of the course, the SRX is in competition with the Lexus RX 350, Acura MDX and Volvo XC90.
