Looking for the Best Prices on a New Jaguar XK?
Try the WhyPaySticker.com Way and Save Some Real Money
The Old-Fashioned Way
1. You can't leave. You're pressured to buy the car today, without the chance to comparison shop.
2. Endless negotiation. You're stuck for hours going head-to-head with a salesman.
3. You're overwhelmed by numbers. APRs, fees, payment schedules—you have to sign right away and there's no time to think.
Our Dealer Network
We generate millions of dollars in sales each month for the dealers. By using our website as the middleman, you can save hundreds of dollars on your purchase. Why do dealers work with us then? Because of the 50,000 cars sold each day, fewer than 500 are sold through our network. That’s a drop in the bucket for the car dealers, but a bottom line price quote for you.
In addition, we'll show you any available manufacturer Rebates & Incentives for your new car.
The Back Door to Savings
A dealership’s Internet department prices its vehicles to maximize the number of cars it sells, not the profit per car. Manufacturers decide the allocation of vehicles and dealer perks on the basis of a dealership's volume.
Coming in through the "back door" levels the playing field for your negotiation and tells the dealer that you have done your research, that you know about rebates, hold-backs, multiple price quotes and all the tricks of the trade.
When you deal with our contacts in the Internet department, you get a firm price quote, and oftentimes the paper work is already prepared when you walk into the dealership.
Depending on your location, sometimes the dealer will bring the car to you at your home or office for a test drive, walk-around, and ultimately delivery.
We keep referring customers to friendly Internet Sales Managers, and they keep selling cars at incredibly low prices.
The WhyPaySticker.com Way
1. Start from the comfort of home. It's so easy with free, no-obligation Internet price quotes from Accredited Dealers.
2. Make dealers compete. You know you'll get the best price with competitive bids from multiple dealers.
3. Finalize the numbers on your terms. Finish your negotiations on your time, then go to the dealership to pick up your new car.
New 2013 Jaguar XK Overview
Vehicle Overview
The Jaguar XK is a high-end luxury sports car that drives as well as it looks. The four-seat XK comes as a coupe or convertible with V-8 power. There are two high-performance variants of the XK: the XKR and XKR-S. Both have supercharged V-8s, and the XKR-S' engine puts out 550 horsepower. According to Jaguar, the XKR-S can go from zero to 60 mph in just 4.2 seconds.
New for 2013
New Touring versions of the coupe and convertible body styles give the XK a lower starting price for 2013. There's also a new Portfolio Package for the XK and XKR that includes chrome mirror caps and a chrome grille, contrast cabin stitching, soft-grain leather, heated and cooled front seats, walnut or aluminum interior trim, a leather headliner, stainless-steel pedals and scuff plates, and leather-trimmed floormats.
Exterior
The XK's oval grille opening is different from other Jaguar models, and the broader front bumper distinguishes it from the preceding generation, called the XK8. Exterior features include 19- or 20-inch alloy wheels, power-folding side mirrors with automatic dimming, bi-xenon high-intensity-discharge headlamps, dual exhaust, and a power-folding soft-top (convertible).
Interior
The XK's interior isn't the roomiest in its class, though its front-seat legroom is far better than average and its dimensions are more than workable for adults. The backseat exists only in name; there's no legroom unless the front occupants slide forward, and the seat cushions have oddly shaped contours. It's "2+2" seating, which means Jaguar doesn't expect you to think they're real rear seats. The convertible's soft-top is thick enough that interior noise levels aren't much different from the coupe's. Interior features include leather seats and steering wheel, a navigation system, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Options include adaptive cruise control, leather-appointed dash, and a heated steering wheel.
Under the Hood
The XK features a 385-hp, 5.0-liter V-8 mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift function. Jaguar claims zero to 60 mph acceleration of 5.2 seconds.
Safety
Safety features include side-impact airbags, active front head restraints, daytime running lights, antilock brakes and traction control, electronic stability system, front and rear parking sensors, and an available collision warning system.
XKR
Jaguar's XKR builds upon the XK with a 510-hp, supercharged version of the 5.0-liter V-8. A modified suspension firms up the ride and sharpens handling. Other changes include a modified exterior with a mesh grille, modified fog lights, larger wheels, quad exhaust and dual hood louvers. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard, and Jaguar says the XKR accelerates from zero to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds.
XKR-S
Jaguar says the limited-production XKR-S has a top speed of 186 mph and will leap from zero to 60 mph in just 4.2 seconds. Thanks to exhaust system and engine computer tuning, the supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 makes 550 hp and 502 pounds-feet of torque. Boost pressure and engine compression are also slightly higher. The engine teams with a six-speed automatic that incorporates shift paddles. The suspension is 10 millimeters lower, and the XKR-S has an electronic differential.
