Looking for the Best Prices on a New Honda Pilot?
Try the WhyPaySticker.com Way and Save Some Real Money
The Old-Fashioned Way
1. You can't leave. You're pressured to buy the car today, without the chance to comparison shop.
2. Endless negotiation. You're stuck for hours going head-to-head with a salesman.
3. You're overwhelmed by numbers. APRs, fees, payment schedules—you have to sign right away and there's no time to think.
Our Dealer Network
We generate millions of dollars in sales each month for the dealers. By using our website as the middleman, you can save hundreds of dollars on your purchase. Why do dealers work with us then? Because of the 50,000 cars sold each day, fewer than 500 are sold through our network. That’s a drop in the bucket for the car dealers, but a bottom line price quote for you.
In addition, we'll show you any available manufacturer Rebates & Incentives for your new car.
The Back Door to Savings
A dealership’s Internet department prices its vehicles to maximize the number of cars it sells, not the profit per car. Manufacturers decide the allocation of vehicles and dealer perks on the basis of a dealership's volume.
Coming in through the "back door" levels the playing field for your negotiation and tells the dealer that you have done your research, that you know about rebates, hold-backs, multiple price quotes and all the tricks of the trade.
When you deal with our contacts in the Internet department, you get a firm price quote, and oftentimes the paper work is already prepared when you walk into the dealership.
Depending on your location, sometimes the dealer will bring the car to you at your home or office for a test drive, walk-around, and ultimately delivery.
We keep referring customers to friendly Internet Sales Managers, and they keep selling cars at incredibly low prices.
The WhyPaySticker.com Way
1. Start from the comfort of home. It's so easy with free, no-obligation Internet price quotes from Accredited Dealers.
2. Make dealers compete. You know you'll get the best price with competitive bids from multiple dealers.
3. Finalize the numbers on your terms. Finish your negotiations on your time, then go to the dealership to pick up your new car.
New 2013 Honda Pilot Overview
Want to carry around a bunch of people but don’t want to drive a minivan? The eight-passenger 2013 Honda Pilot is great, practical alternative.
The Pilot is technically classified as a midsize crossover but can fit up to eight people in three-rows of seats. For 2013 changes are limited to a backup camera that is newly standard.
From the outside, the Pilot won’t really turn heads. It has classic SUV style with a high stance and rough, squared off edges. 17-inch steel wheels are standard, while 18-inch alloys are optional. The outside of the Pilot is very customizable, illustrative of the many different ways that people use their SUVs. Roof rails, a power liftgate, and fog lights are optional.
Under the hood, the Pilot features a 250-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 that is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. The engine utilizes Honda’s Variable Cylinder Management technology which shuts down parts of the engine when less power is needed (such as during highway cruising) in order to improve fuel economy. Front-wheel drive (FWD) is standard, while a Variable Torque Management four-wheel drive (4WD) system with a manually locking rear differential is optional. A heavy duty radiator and a Class III trailer hitch are standard. Towing capacity is 2,000 pounds with FWD, while 4WD models can tow up to 4,500 pounds. Fuel economy numbers check in at 18/25 mpg city/highway with FWD, 17/24 with 4WD.
Inside, both the second and third rows are 60/40-split so there are many creative ways to use the space to store cargo. There is 18 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third-row, which expands all the way to 87 cubic feet with both rows folded down. The second row also slides forward and back which makes it more comfortable for occupants. Overall, the interior is conservatively styled (much like the exterior) with the center console highlighted by an eight-inch multi-information display mounted at the top. Standard features include air conditioning, cruise control, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, and auxiliary audio input. Leather upholstery is optional, as are heated front seats, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, and tri-zone automatic climate control.
The 2013 Pilot is the recipient of a Top Safety Pick award from the IIHS for its performance in crash tests, as well as a four out of five star overall rating from the NHTSA. All-disc antilock brakes, side curtain airbags across all three rows, active front head restraints, and an electronic stability system all come standard.
