After its major redesign in 2008, the 2011 Chevrolet Malibu adds minor tweaks to an already impressive package that features a low base-price, impressive fuel economy and copious amounts of amenities.
There are two options under the hood: a 2.4-liter, 169-horsepower flex-fuel four-cylinder and a 3.6-liter, 252-horsepower V-6. Both are mated to a standard six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift controls. Fuel economy varies between the two engines with the four-cylinder getting tremendous efficiency.
